  14. I downloaded version 2 from ftp.uni-koeln.de:/pc/djgpp.
  15. Thunderbyte 7.00 for Windows showed the message at the
  16. end of this article for several files distributed with
  17. djgpp AS WELL AS for a compiled self-written program.

  19. Does anyone else have this problem? Please try to scan
  20. your own files and tell in this group under the same
  21. subject, if you have the same message or especially
  22. if you don't get this message. In this case please tell,
  23. where you got your files from.

  37. c No checksum / recovery information (Anti-Vir.Dat) available.
  38. G Garbage instructions.  Contains code that seems to have no purpose
  39.   other than encryption or avoiding recognition by virus scanners.
  40. Z EXE/COM determination.  The program tries to check whether a file
  41.   is a COM or EXE file.  Viruses need to do this to infect a program.
  42. 1 Found instructions which require a 80186 processor or above.
